How To Register
To register please provide the following information.
1. Picture ID
Picture ID must be provided for every adult in your household.
2. Proof of Address
You must prove that you live in either Sidney or on the Peninsula by a telephone, hydro or cable bill address to you at your current address, or a recent Accommodations and Allowance print-out from the Social Assistance office which will confirm an address.
3. Proof of Family and Dependents
You must provide Care Cards for each person in our household. You will be asked to update you information every 6 months.

Best Before Dates
Most of the food received by us is near its "best before" date. We have been advised that the date tells the stores when to start moving the food from the shelves, not because it is bad, just no longer at its peak.
Please be careful. If the item looks or smells bad or has bulges or bubbles when it should not:

About our Food Hampers
Registered Clients may visit the Sidney Lions Food Bank for a hamper a maximum of once a month. Our hampers are based on the size of the family/household. Only one registration and one hamper per family/household are provided.
We try to provide enough food for 5 to 7 days but sometimes our supplies are low.
